Philip Reinhold . Filmmaker, Director & Cinematographer

I’m a filmmaker and visual storyteller with over two decades of experience in film, documentary, and photography. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked on more than 200 productions across Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa from commercial campaigns and music films to character-driven documentaries. My background is rooted in direction and cinematography. I enjoy capturing stories with a strong visual sense, often with a calm, observational approach. Some of my photography has been featured in international campaigns, and my work has received awards at international festivals. I focus my films on visual clarity and emotional depth, often drawn to environmental and expedition stories especially those unfolding in remote or hard-to-reach places.

I often collaborate with artists, researchers and local communities, and I rely on a hands-on, intuitive way of working that’s shaped by the conditions on the ground. In commercial projects, I work closely with my clients and agencies to translate creative concepts into strong, cinematic visuals always with attention to context, aesthetics, and honest storytelling.

Inspiration comes from landscapes, music, and cultural contrasts and I try to reflect that in imagery that feels honest, immersive, and quietly expressive.
